How does the shoe horn work

The shoe horn has two pieces, the basic piece and the complementary piece, which work as follows:


First step.- Insert the sock into the complementary piece, as it is shown in the picture, trying that the heel remains centered.

 

Second step.- Insert the complementary piece into the basic piece, with a light pressure.
Third step.- Put your foot inside the shoe horn and once it is there, pull up the rods moving your heel until the sock/stocking/compression stocking covers your ankle.

Fourth step.- Once the ankle is covered, the sock/stocking/compression stocking will go on covering the leg, by pulling up the rods, until it is completely in place. In the case of stockings, due to their length, the rods have to be pulled up until the stocking reaches a comfortable position for the person to pull it up by himself/herself. At this point remove the shoe horn.

In addition, the shoe horn incorporates a device which is suitable to take the sock off, as it is shown in the picture. This device for taking off socks is suitable NEITHER for thin stockings, NOR for compression stockings.
